Hotel Renovation/Seismic/ADA upgrade San Francisco, California

SITUATION
The existing building is a reinforced masonry structure that required a seismic upgrade and ADA improvements. The existing building was well over a 100 years old and did not come up to today's code standards.ective.

ACTION
In conjunction with a structural engineer we outlined the issues requiring improvement within the building. The project was completed by the fact that their were over 16 owners with an equal say in all of the decisions. The project was also complicated by a very tight budget. We were able to work a smart approach to the seismic work and identified various ways to approach the improved access within the building.
